Muslims For Israel, a grassroots interfaith movement, announced Saturday the launch of a new global platform aimed at expanding dialogue and cooperation between Muslim and Jewish communities. The announcement was shared by Sheikh Musa Drammeh alongside Dr. Anila Ali and dozens of other supporters, marking what organizers described as a milestone in the movement’s growth from an online community into a more permanent institutional presence.

According to the announcement, what began as a growing social media community is evolving into a broader global effort to promote dialogue, understanding, friendship, and peace among people of different faiths and backgrounds. Organizers said the time had come to establish a permanent platform capable of supporting and strengthening that mission.

A New Website and Monthly Newsletter

The centerpiece of the launch is a new website and monthly newsletter, which organizers say will be distributed to United Nations missions, Muslim and Jewish organizations, and other stakeholders around the world committed to advancing dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence.

The website is intended to serve as a central hub for news, updates, and events, including information about the group’s “Circle of Friends” gatherings and updates on its Unbreakable Bond Investment Campaign, described as a key initiative of the movement.

Civic Engagement in Memory of 1964 Civil Rights Workers

The platform will also offer nonpartisan civic engagement training and voter registration services intended to encourage informed, constructive participation in civic and democratic life.

Organizers dedicated this civic engagement initiative to the memory of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner, the three civil rights workers murdered in Mississippi in 1964 while working to expand voting rights. Their courage and sacrifice, the announcement said, remain a powerful reminder that democracy depends upon ordinary people willing to stand for the rights and dignity of others.

Space for New Voices

Beyond news and civic tools, the platform will provide space for opinion articles, freelance contributions, personal testimonies, and writings from interns and emerging peacebuilders committed to fostering understanding and cooperation.

Looking further ahead, organizers said Muslims For Israel will work toward establishing an annual, week-long convention in the Holy Land, bringing together supporters, advocates, peacebuilders, and friends from around the world. The convention is also envisioned as an international platform for advancing the goals of the Unbreakable Bond Investment Campaign.

The group extended an open invitation to pro-Israel and pro-peace writers, philanthropists, community leaders, supporters, and friends of the mission to join the growing movement.

“At a time when division is easy and dialogue takes courage, we are choosing dialogue,” the announcement read, adding that “when extremists insist that Muslims and Jews are destined to be enemies, Muslims For Israel will demonstrate that another future is possible.”
