Lahore — Nearly 100 theologically trained women and ministry leaders from diverse Christian denominations gathered at the historic Cathedral Church of the Resurrection in Lahore for a powerful day of faith, learning, and transformation. The Regional Ecumenical Seminar was organized by the Ecumenical Forum for Theologically Trained Women under the auspices of the Christian Study Centre, Rawalpindi.
A day of worship, study, and vision
The seminar brought together women from across Pakistan’s Christian denominations for an immersive programme designed to ignite purpose and equip leaders for the challenges facing their communities. Sessions moved fluidly from corporate worship to intellectual engagement, weaving together the spiritual and the practical.
Unity, dialogue, and an Action Plan
Through rich dialogue, shared experiences, and candid cross-denominational exchange, participants affirmed a message that resonated throughout the day: when women rise in faith and purpose, they transform not only the Church, but the wider society around them. The seminar concluded with a collective Action Plan, committing attendees to continued collaboration, mentorship, and community outreach across their respective denominations.
