Muslim Scientists’ Contribution to the USA
Dr. Umair Siddiqui visits Pakistani Americans with a message of faith, gratitude, and civic responsibility — as AMMWEC’s Dr. Anila Ali calls it “powerful and timely”
Muslim scientist Dr. Bashir has significantly contributed to the progress of the United States — a reminder that Muslims in America have long served society positively while upholding the law of the land. That message of civic service and gratitude was renewed this week as Pakistani-born scholar Dr. Umair Siddiqui visited the University of Texas at Dallas, engaging directly with Pakistani Americans about the blessings and responsibilities of life in the United States.
Muslims should continue to serve society positively while abiding by the law of the land.

Dr. Umair Siddiqui, a respected scholar from Pakistan and a valued member of the IRF Roundtable Pakistan, traveled to the United States to engage with Pakistani American communities — carrying a message that resonates across faith lines: do not take for granted the freedoms that so many around the world still struggle to obtain.
His visit to Dallas and engagement with Pakistani Americans at the University of Texas drew praise from Muslim leaders across the country, including the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council (AMMWEC).
Dr. Anila Ali Responds
Dr. Anila Ali, President and CEO of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council (AMMWEC), issued a warm statement welcoming Dr. Siddiqui’s visit and amplifying his message to Muslim communities across America.
So happy to see Dr. Umair Siddiqui, a respected scholar from Pakistan and a valued member of the IRF Roundtable Pakistan, visiting the United States and engaging with Pakistani Americans.
His message is powerful and timely: we must never take for granted the blessing of religious freedom in America. In this country, we are free to worship, speak, organize, and live our faith openly — freedoms that so many around the world still struggle for.
As Pakistani Americans, he reminds us of how blessed we are to live in a nation that protects religious liberty and gives us equal opportunity to build, serve, and contribute. May we always thank God for this blessing, love the country we call home, and work hard to strengthen America with gratitude, unity, and faith.
Welcome to America, Dr. Umair Siddiqui. We are proud of your voice and your commitment to religious freedom and teaching American Muslims — reminding them of how fortunate they are to be living in America and how they must serve this beautiful country and follow all its rules, regulations, and Constitution.
What a beautiful message, Dr. Umair.
