Almansi’s statement is deliberate in addressing both Palestinians and Israelis directly, rather than speaking solely to a Gazan or Palestinian audience. That framing echoes Wegner’s own announcement of the chapter, which emphasized recognition of “the other people’s right to exist” as the foundation of the movement’s work in the territory.
