AMMWEC to Host National Coalition Conference on Antisemitism and Hate Under Theme of Abrahamic Unity
Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and multifaith leaders will gather at the National Press Club on July 13 to forge collective strategies against rising hate — united under the banner of their shared Abrahamic heritage.
The American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council (AMMWEC) will host its National Coalition Conference on Antisemitism and Hate on July 13, 2026, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The gathering will bring together Muslim, Jewish, Christian, and multifaith leaders to strengthen interfaith cooperation and develop collective strategies to combat rising hate and discrimination.
Building on inaugural success
According to event organizers, the gathering builds on the success of AMMWEC’s inaugural conference focused on fighting antisemitism and promoting solidarity among diverse faith communities. The coalition has grown rapidly, with more than 50 member organizations already confirmed and numbers continuing to rise ahead of the July 13 convening.
The conference aims to provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action by bringing together religious leaders, policymakers, advocates, and community representatives committed to countering hate and fostering mutual understanding across faith lines.
“By uniting voices from across faith traditions, this conference seeks to demonstrate that collaboration and shared values remain powerful tools against prejudice and division.”
Platform for dialogue and action
The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking opportunities focused on advancing interfaith partnerships and building community resilience against hate, extremism, and intolerance. Organizers say the full conference agenda, speaker announcements, and registration details will be released in the coming weeks.
The choice of the National Press Club as the venue underscores AMMWEC’s intent to place the coalition’s work squarely in the public square, reaching policymakers, media, and civil society simultaneously. The conference is scheduled to run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with sessions expected to span the full arc from morning keynotes to afternoon action planning.
