CENTCOM says the State Department will pay up to $20 million, and may help with relocation, for tips on Iran’s nuclear sites, equipment and scientists, even as Trump weighs fresh strikes and talks with Tehran continue.
The United States is asking the world to talk. On Friday, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program is offering up to $20 million, with possible relocation assistance, for information about Iran’s nuclear program.
What the offer covers
In a post on X, CENTCOM pointed to the State Department program and said it wants details on Iran’s nuclear facilities, equipment and the people involved. That includes members of the scientific community. The reward also extends to information on the movement of nuclear-related materials, equipment or personnel.

Strikes on the table, talks still running
The timing is hard to miss. President Donald Trump is considering renewed military strikes against Iran, while Washington and Tehran continue negotiations over the country’s nuclear program. On Friday, Trump repeated that Iran would never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, and he pointed to earlier U.S. military operations that targeted Tehran’s nuclear facilities.
Put together, the reward offer reads as pressure on both tracks. It invites insiders, including scientists, to step forward, and it signals that Washington is gathering information while keeping its options open. The announcement did not say whether any tips have been received.
How to submit information
Anyone with relevant information is directed to the official Rewards for Justice Iran nuclear program page.
