The Abrahamic Movement Appoints Dana Ahmadi as Chairman of the Abrahamic Movement in Norway
The Abrahamic Movement has appointed Dana Ahmadi, a Norwegian citizen and an activist in international diplomacy and Kurdish minority affairs, as Chairman of the Abrahamic Movement in Norway. He will also serve as Special Adviser on Kurdish Minority Affairs in Iran to the Global Abrahamic Movement.
The appointment reflects a conviction at the heart of the movement: a shared future is built by bringing together the region’s diverse peoples and communities, including the Kurdish people, as partners in dialogue and in shaping a shared narrative.
“We are all children of Abraham.”
About the Abrahamic Movement
The Abrahamic Movement is a global grassroots initiative, inspired by the Abraham Accords and grounded in the shared heritage of the Abrahamic faiths.
Its mission is to build lasting bridges of dialogue, cooperation, and peace among the peoples of the Middle East and the broader Abrahamic world.
The movement was born from the belief that the Abraham Accords are only the beginning: a political framework that points the Middle East in a new direction, yet still needs a story, a vision, and meaning.
The launch of our activities in Norway presents a new opportunity to foster dialogue among Norway’s diverse Abrahamic communities and to jointly shape a new Abrahamic vision in which everyone has a place.
The Abrahamic Movement focuses on the human connections that make lasting change possible: trust, mutual recognition, and cultural and spiritual reconciliation.
The appointment of Mr. Ahmadi as Special Adviser on Kurdish Affairs in Iran, representing the community to which he belongs, is a clear affirmation that the Kurdish people are an integral part of the Middle East’s future and of shaping a vision of peace and cooperation.
Welcome, Dana Ahmadi.
