Tom Wegner, founder and chief executive of Abrahamic Movement Global, has said he was “glad to visit the UAE” to share the ideas of the Abrahamic Movement, a vision he describes as one of “dialogue and healing,” in a post published on X.

During the visit he met partners from many communities across the Middle East who, in his words, are “deeply committed” to the movement’s idea. “We all stand hand in hand around a shared mission: to stop the killing and to remind the peoples of the Middle East that we are brothers,” he wrote.

A shared mission, three pillars

The post frames the movement around a few simple ideas. Select a pillar below to see how each one appears in Wegner’s message.

The UAE, seen up close

Wegner said he was “just as glad to see the spirit of the UAE up close”: a “united, progressive society” on “a path of moderation and shared prosperity, even under fire from the extremist side.” He expressed hope that the country’s approach could serve as a model for the wider region.

What comes next

Wegner closed his post with a short pledge: “We will keep going.” The message points to continued engagement with partners across the region. Faith & Freedom News will follow further announcements from Abrahamic Movement Global.
