“Together, The Lebanese Stays on His Land”
René Moawad Foundation 17th Annual Miami Gala Unites Diaspora in Solidarity with Lebanon
In the grand ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, Lebanese-Americans, diplomats, artists, physicians, and philanthropists gathered beneath the Brickell bayfront lights — not merely for an elegant gala, but to serve as their homeland’s lifeline in its darkest hour.
On the evening of Saturday, April 18, 2026, the grand ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Miami was transformed into a gathering of purpose. Overlooking the shimmering Biscayne Bay, the René Moawad Foundation USA held its 17th Annual Miami Benefit Gala — a black-tie evening that brought together prominent Lebanese-Americans, diplomats, business leaders, artists, physicians, and philanthropists united by one shared resolve: to stand beside Lebanon in its most difficult hour.
The night was elegant, but the stakes were real. Every dollar raised went directly toward life-saving monthly medicine and treatment for patients with chronic illnesses in Lebanon — a country whose healthcare system has been devastated by years of crisis, compounding an already dire humanitarian emergency.
Together, the Lebanese stays on his land. Together, we preserve hope and safeguard dignity.
— Michel Moawad, Member of Parliament · @RMFLebanonAbout the René Moawad Foundation
Established in Washington D.C. in 1993 and recognized as a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the René Moawad Foundation USA is a non-political, non-sectarian organization whose mission is to foster sustainable social and economic development in Lebanon, establish a strong civil society, and deliver emergency relief and humanitarian aid to the country’s most vulnerable communities — through its implementing partner, RMF Lebanon.
Inspired by values of inclusiveness, transparency, compassion, and a profound commitment to the inherent rights of every Lebanese person — to food, shelter, education, healthcare, work, equality, and above all, human dignity — RMF USA mobilizes the Lebanese diaspora through fundraising, education, and outreach across U.S. NGOs and government institutions.
Distinguished Honorees
The gala celebrated extraordinary individuals whose contributions to the Lebanese-American community and Lebanon itself span music, diplomacy, medicine, media, business, and the arts.
