The F.G.A. Adult Education Welfare Institute of Pakistan has officially terminated the services of its legal counsel, Advocate Sooba Bhatti, with immediate effect, according to a notification issued by the institute on August 3, 2026.

The letter, signed by Tamoor Sandhu, Principal and Assistant Managing Director of the institute, states that Advocate Bhatti had been appointed on February 27, 2026, to pursue and advocate a complaint submitted to the Dr. Shoaib Suddle Commission in Islamabad.

Allegations Against Legal Counsel

According to the institute, concerns arose over Bhatti’s conduct during his engagement. The organization alleged that instead of pursuing the matter in the institute’s interest, he became involved in activities that created divisions among members of the FGA leadership, including directors and the managing director. The letter further claims that Bhatti aligned himself with Pastor Anwar Inayat of the FGA Church and Adventist members from another church, resulting in the formation of a separate group.

The Board of Directors of the FGA Social Welfare Directorate described these actions as unacceptable and contrary to the interests of the organization.

Prior Warning Over Institute Materials

The notification also refers to a WhatsApp message sent to Advocate Bhatti on April 21, 2026, reminding him that the institute’s official stamps, logos, and letterheads are protected under intellectual property rights and that no individual was authorized to issue documents on behalf of the organization without its explicit approval.

Terms of Termination

In its final decision, the institute announced the immediate cancellation of Bhatti’s appointment as legal counsel. The letter directs him not to initiate, continue, represent, or pursue any legal proceedings, complaints, applications, or correspondence on behalf of the FGA Adult Education Welfare Institute of Pakistan before courts, government departments, commissions, or private authorities.

Additionally, he has been instructed to cease any support, social media broadcasting, or representation related to pending matters in the institute’s name.

The institute stated that the notice should be treated as final and requested compliance with its directives.
