ISRAEL — In a powerful demonstration of regional unity and female leadership, thirty remarkable women leaders from across the Middle East and North Africa convened in Israel to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the historic Abraham Accords.

“The future of the MENA Region relies on Female Leaders Creating Social Change.”

The gathering brought together an extraordinary diverse group of influential figures from civil society, media, research, sports, and culture, all united by their dedication to fostering cross-border collaboration and sisterhood across traditional divides.

The three-day think tank was organized as part of the Women Champions for Change (WCC) initiative, championing the transformative power of women to lead with empathy, authenticity, and courage in one of the world’s most complex regions.

The event was made possible through strategic partnerships with The Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, Abraham Women’s Alliance, and MENA2050. Special recognition was given to Danny Hakim OAM, Ayelet Mavor, and Stav Bar-Shany for their exceptional dedication and dynamism in bringing this historic gathering together.

During the intensive sessions, participants tackled shared regional challenges, brainstormed actionable solutions, and explored unprecedented opportunities for cross-border cooperation—all with the shared vision of creating a brighter future for their children and communities.

A highlight of the gathering was the opportunity to stand alongside Israel’s First Lady, Mrs. Herzog, as the group collectively envisioned a Middle East where peace reigns and women lead in fostering harmony, health, understanding, and hope for all.

“May this new year bring joy to our hearts, light to our souls, and peace to our world; our precious hostages home, the end to conflict, and a new era for our shared Middle East.”
