Massive tribute expected to attract nearly 100,000 to NFL stadium for Turning Point USA founder
A memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk will be held Sunday at the NFL home of the Arizona Cardinals, featuring President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and numerous top administration figures in what is expected to be one of the largest political gatherings of the year.
The service for the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founderKirk co-founded the conservative youth organization in 2012 at age 18, who was assassinated on September 10 during an event at Utah Valley University, will take place at State Farm Stadium, which seats more than 63,400 people and has hosted multiple Super Bowls.

Remembering Charlie Kirk

On Thursday, Turning Point USA’s board announcedUnanimously elected as CEO and board chair that Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, had been unanimously chosen as the organization’s next leader, serving as both CEO and board chair. Erika Kirk, who won Miss Arizona USA in 2012 and earned a juris master degree from Liberty University, was already deeply involved in the organization and had spoken at numerous Turning Point USA events about politics, religion, and conservative family values.
In her first public remarks after the assassination, Erika Kirk vowed that “the movement my husband built will not die.” During previous appearances on “The Charlie Kirk Show,” she had jokingly described herself as more conservative than her husband, with Charlie agreeing: “I am a moderate compared to Erika.”
