On World Water Day, Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and the Hungary Helps Program, reminded the world that access to clean drinking water is not a given everywhere.
💧 “Let’s remember that clean drinking water is not natural everywhere,” Azbej stated in his message, emphasizing the importance of global efforts to provide safe water.
As part of its humanitarian mission, the Hungary Helps – Magyarország Segít program responded to the request of Father Ágoston from Nigeria, helping to establish a drinking water supply in five villages. The newly constructed well, named Saint Erzsébet in Árpád-háza, now serves as a vital source of clean water for local communities.
Hungary’s commitment to humanitarian aid continues to extend beyond its borders, ensuring that those in need—especially persecuted Christian communities—receive essential resources for a dignified life.
