Magalang, Philippines – Zaeem Raza, a Pakistani Christian religious leader, has found a renewed sense of purpose and inspiration during his time in the Philippines. Currently serving at the Merciful God Church in Pampanga, Raza took to social media to express his gratitude for the opportunity to minister in the region.
In a heartfelt post, Raza shared, “Grateful to serve at Merciful God Church in Pampanga! Praying for many testimonies to arise, not by my strength, but by God’s goodness and faithfulness! (Psalm 100:5).” He extended special thanks to Pastor Vicente Concengco and Brother Raul Dayrit Laxamana for their support and hospitality.

Raza’s journey in the Philippines has been marked by meaningful connections and spiritual growth. In another social media update, he reflected on a recent meeting with Pastor Joseph Bonifacio, whom he hadn’t seen in nearly seven years. “There are moments in ministry when God reminds you—you’re not alone,” Raza wrote. “Thank you for your time, Pastor Joseph Bonifacio. We met almost after 7 years, and I am definitely overwhelmed by the wisdom, humility, and Kingdom focus you have, Kuya.”
Raza praised Pastor Bonifacio for his mentorship and the profound impact of their conversation. “In a world where many are busy building platforms, you took time to sit with me, listen, and gently pour truth, courage, and perspective into my journey as a brother, a mentor, and a co-laborer in Christ,” he shared. “You helped me see through the fog of ministry pressure and reminded me of the simplicity and strength found in obedience to God.”

The Pakistani leader expressed deep appreciation for Pastor Bonifacio’s guidance, stating, “Your words didn’t just answer questions, they literally revived my spirit.” Quoting Proverbs 27:17, Raza added, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” He concluded by acknowledging the strength of the Christian community, saying, “The Body of Christ is stronger because of leaders like you, who are grounded, gracious, and generous with their time and wisdom.”
Raza’s experience in the Philippines highlights the power of cross-cultural ministry and the importance of spiritual mentorship. His journey serves as a testament to the global Christian community’s ability to uplift and inspire one another, even across continents.
As he continues his work in the Philippines, Raza remains hopeful for more testimonies of faith and transformation, crediting God’s goodness and the support of local leaders for his renewed sense of purpose.
