Islamabad, Pakistan – In a significant development for Pakistan’s civil society, Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) has announced it has secured a license under Section 42 of the Companies Act from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). This milestone, achieved after seven months of dedicated effort, paves the way for FGP to launch its nationwide initiatives focused on Economic Empowerment and Environmental Sustainability.
Founder and CEO, Muhammad Anwar, expressed his delight in a recent statement, highlighting the organization’s commitment to creating, training, and sustaining a network of empowered citizens who can contribute to Pakistan’s socio-economic development. “This is an exciting new chapter,” said Anwar, “and I deeply appreciate the encouragement and support received from our well-wishers. Their guidance, insights, and goodwill will be invaluable in helping FGP create a lasting impact.”
Adding to the momentum, FGP has also finalized a lease agreement for its operational headquarters at Islamabad. The organization is set to officially commence operations in the first week of April 2025.
Focus on Empowerment and Sustainability
FGP, a dynamic civil society organization founded by professionals dedicated to social development, is registered as a not-for-profit with the SECP, ensuring transparency and accountability. The organization’s mission centers on empowering communities and promoting sustainable development across Pakistan.
Guiding FGP’s strategic direction is a robust Board of Directors comprising prominent civil society leaders, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise. Additionally, a Board of Advisors, consisting of distinguished professionals from education, business, governance, and social activism, provides strategic insights.
“We exist to create, train, and sustain a network of empowered citizens who can creatively contribute to Pakistan’s socio-economic development,” stated Anwar.
Looking Ahead
With the license secured and operational base established, FGP is poised to make a significant contribution to Pakistan’s development landscape. The organization aims to foster a future where communities are empowered and environmental sustainability is prioritized.
