Rabat, Morocco — In a rare and encouraging development for regional dialogue, Moroccan outlet A-Nahar has published a glowing review of The Abrahamic Revolution, a new book by author Tom Wegner exploring the transformative impact of the Abraham Accords.
The review, written by Moroccan peace advocate Mohamed Iken, describes the book as more than a historical account, calling it a “mental roadmap to peace” for the Middle East.

“A Revolutionary Diplomatic Movement”
“At the heart of this book, author Tom Wegner offers a bold reading of the Abraham Accords, portraying them not merely as political deals but as a revolutionary diplomatic movement capable of reshaping the Middle East’s dynamics,” the review states.
Iken emphasized the importance of exposing young Arabs to diverse books and perspectives — including those by Israeli writers — as a way to foster critical thinking and equip future generations to shape the region’s future.
Beyond Politics: A Cultural Shift
According to the review, Wegner’s work highlights that lasting peace requires more than treaties:
“The book underscores that true revolution begins in the mind before it reaches the ground, and lasting peace requires a shift in culture and political behavior, beyond mere signatures on paper.”
By reframing politics as a tool for strategic partnerships built on mutual respect, the book presents a vision of cooperation rather than conflict.
Wegner’s Response
Author Tom Wegner welcomed the review with gratitude, thanking his Moroccan colleague:
“A heartfelt thank you to the reviewer, my friend Mohamed Iken, a true advocate for peace from Morocco. Together, we are laying the foundations for a new Middle Eastern dialogue.”
A Regional Dialogue Emerging
The praise from a Moroccan media outlet underscores the spirit of the Abraham Accords, which have fostered new ties between Israel and Arab states such as Morocco.
Wegner’s book suggests that while diplomacy may begin with leaders, it can only succeed if it sparks cultural openness, dialogue, and a new mindset across societies.
