The International Churches Alliance (ICA) has announced a series of significant leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its administrative and outreach framework across various regions of Pakistan. The notifications were issued by Bishop Dr. Balthazar Samuel John, Chairman of ICA and the Bishop Council of the Methodist Church in Pakistan.
Advocate Yousaf Khokhar Appointed Vice President Pakistan – ICA
In a major national appointment, Advocate Yousaf Khokhar, a respected legal professional and resident of Jalalpur Jutta (Gujrat), has been designated as the Vice President Pakistan of ICA. The decision was taken after deliberation with senior ICA officials including:
- Archbishop Dr. Stephen Saddique (Religious Spokesperson Pakistan)
- Advocate Naveed Anjum Gill (Chief Organizer Pakistan & Secretary General Punjab)
- Elder Aslam James Mattu (Education Advisor)
- Pastor Ashiq M. Gill (Advisor to Chairman)
Bishop Dr. Balthazar congratulated Mr. Khokhar and expressed hope that he would contribute meaningfully to the growth and vision of the alliance.
Gulzar Gill Appointed Information Secretary South Punjab – ICA
Journalist Gulzar Gill, based in Bahawalpur, has been appointed as the Information Secretary for South Punjab. The appointment was confirmed following discussions with:
- Archbishop Dr. Stephen Saddique
- Pastor Nadeem Akhtar Masih (Information Secretary Pakistan)
- Rev. Fr. Waqas (President District Bahawalpur)
The notification affirms that all previous designations to this post stand nullified, and Mr. Gill’s term will remain effective until further notice.
Pastor Sagheer Masih Appointed General Secretary District Sialkot – ICA
In another key regional development, Pastor Sagheer Masih, a resident of Sialkot, has been appointed as the General Secretary for District Sialkot. His appointment followed consultations with:
- Advocate Naveed Anjum Gill
- Elder Aslam James Mattu
- Mr. Shahid Anjum (President Division Gujranwala)
- Pastor Mark Hennary (President District Sialkot)
Bishop Dr. Balthazar emphasized the importance of this role in strengthening ICA’s presence and coordination in the Sialkot region.
All three appointments are aimed at furthering the mission of the International Churches Alliance in promoting unity, development, and faith-based community service across Pakistan. These notifications nullify any prior appointments to the respective positions and will remain in effect until further notice.
