In a recent Facebook post, Tristan Azbej, State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and head of the Hungary Helps Program, shared exciting news about the expansion of Hungary’s humanitarian mission. After a highly successful mission in Nigeria, Azbej announced that he is now traveling to Pakistan. A video posted on his Facebook page shows a plane carrying him as it lands at Lahore Airport, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Hungary’s global aid efforts.
Azbej proudly declared that the mission in Nigeria concluded with significant achievements and the announcement of new humanitarian aid initiatives. “After Nigeria, the mission of Hungary Helps continues with Christians in Pakistan,” he stated, emphasizing that the work to support vulnerable communities goes on. He added a personal and spirited note: “On the way, however, I’m at the derby with the green-whites of lekll útii street in my soul for 90 minutes. Way to go Fradi!” This playful remark reflects his passion not only for his humanitarian work but also for the vibrant spirit of Hungarian culture.
