Dear Friend,
We have just wrapped up the European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, Germany. I praise God for this incredible time of “equipping … the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12, NKJV). I’m overwhelmed by how the Lord worked during these four days of powerful Bible teaching, prayer, and fellowship. Thank you for your prayerful support for this monumental gathering.“The cross is offensive. It has always been offensive because it is soaked with the blood of our Savior.”
—Franklin Graham
On the opening night, I had the opportunity to address more than 1,000 participants—men and women from all over Europe. With the continent sliding deeper and deeper into spiritual darkness, I encouraged each of them to be unafraid, unashamed, unapologetic, and uncompromising as they proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Over the following three days, we heard from leaders and teachers, such as pastors Skip Heitzig and Greg Laurie, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Al Mohler, and Finnish parliamentarian Päivi Räsänen. Those on the frontline of global hostility and persecution also spoke, including Bishop James Lagos Alexander from South Sudan.
Friends like you helped make this eternally important work possible, and I am so grateful for you. Many attendees told us how much the congress meant to them—and shared the challenges they face as they return home. Will you pray for these brothers and sisters in the Lord? Please ask Him to give them strength and boldness as they “hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23, NKJV).
May God richly bless you,
