By Tom Wegner
First reactions to “The Abrahamic Revolution” are starting to come in from the Muslim world, and they are incredibly moving. I’m honored to share this powerful and unsolicited endorsement from my friend, Mohamed Iken, Chairman of the “National Council for Religions and Coexistence” in Morocco. His perspective is invaluable.
Here are his words, translated into English: “In a time teeming with despair, where the same old ideas that fuel hatred and division are recycled, an exceptional book with a different spirit emerges: ‘The Abrahamic Revolution’ by my friend, Israeli author Tom Wegner.
The book is not just a political analysis or a historical reflection. It is an integrated vision that challenges the prevailing narrative about the Middle East and shatters the idea that ‘tomorrow is just a repeat of yesterday.’
While books like ‘Tomorrow Is Yesterday’ – written by the American diplomat Robert Malley and Arafat’s former advisor Hussein Agha – lead with a circular, pessimistic thought that blames the West and Israel, Tom and his book present an intellectual revolution that is both quiet and profound.
In ‘Tomorrow Is Yesterday,’ the classic discourse is reproduced: no hope, nothing new. But in ‘The Abrahamic Revolution,’ the vision is completely different: No, tomorrow is not a repeat of yesterday. There is a third way, a vision built on encounter instead of conflict, on courage instead of self-flagellation, and on true reconciliation instead of hollow slogans.
And the most beautiful part? This book, despite the absence of paid ad campaigns or a huge publisher, is steadily advancing to the top of Amazon’s sales, displacing ‘politically supported’ books. The reason? Because the true reader is searching for hope, for mature thought, for an alternative.Tom’s book is leading thanks to those who read it, not those it is forced upon. Every copy ordered from Amazon makes an impact and delivers the message to thousands.”
Reading this was a deeply moving moment. To see the core ideas of the book understood and articulated with such clarity by a respected leader from Morocco is the very reason I wrote it.
I encourage you to visit Mohamed’s original post to read his thoughts and, if you feel moved, leave him a supportive comment. Let’s show what this bridge-building looks like in action.
