We decided NOT to wait until after this horrific war, with 58 of our hostages still being held by terrorists for 595 days, before recognizing true leaders & unsung heroes, who stand by us. We are honoring, thanking, & celebrating our brothers & sisters of all faiths, who bravely stand by our side through this darkness, hand in hand, day & night, and bring light.
Our 120 heroes and heroines, builders of the Middle East and our Globe, bring light, hope, truth, and wisdom. The number 120 in Judaism means life—a full life. It can be lonely when you feel alone, isolated, and attacked at every corner, but we are not alone.
We honor one of those radiant lights: Drum Roll for our 48th Hero Timothy Wainwright – Founder of Operation Fire Support, an Australian charity that focuses on helping fight fires for communities around the world, as well as training them to fight the fires themselves, including what protective measures they need to take.
Tim and the Operation Fire Support team have come to Israel on their own time and money, an astounding SEVEN TIMES, including FOUR TIMES DURING THIS WAR.
Tim and the rest of the OFS team’s training before October 7 proved to be life-saving for many. Whole agricultural industries were saved because Tim had trained people to save their farms from fire damage. When the missiles came flying, people knew what to do.
The son of a Christian Minister, and with a pure shining faith of his own, Tim has dedicated his time, wisdom, and precious resources to the protection of Israel and its incredible habitat. He has worked with communities from North to South, of all faiths and types of observance, just because he loves them ALL.
His wise words: “My passion is protecting life and property from fire. I believe that protecting life and property is a calling rooted in courage, dedication, and hope. We all have the power to turn chaos into safety, destruction into resilience. Every effort to prepare, educate, and support our communities helps us build a future where no one has to face the flames alone. Together, we can save lives, preserve property, and ignite a safer, more secure tomorrow.”
With our hearts broken, terror, missiles, and antisemitism surrounding us, our resolve to Live, Love, and Build up only, never is – We choose to surround ourselves with Heroes and Heroines of light and rebuild a better, brighter world together. We are building a new future together, based on peace, friendship, culture, business, shared values, coexistence, and mutual respect.
