WASHINGTON, D.C. —
David Closson, Director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council (FRC), has released his new book, Life After Roe: Equipping Christians in the Fight for Life Today.. The book aims to provide a clear biblical foundation and practical tools to help Christians navigate the ongoing battle for life in the post-Roe v. Wade era.
With abortion remaining a key issue in America’s national discourse, Closson emphasizes the need for Christians to understand and articulate their beliefs on the sanctity of life. Drawing from Scripture, he outlines how believers can advocate for the unborn within their families, churches, and communities.
“Obedience to the Lord Jesus requires nothing less than active engagement in the greatest human rights issue of our day,” Closson stated. “The fight for life requires pastors preaching and applying what God’s Word teaches about the sanctity of life. It requires Christian lawmakers advocating for just laws. It requires Christian citizens in every state bearing witness to the personhood of the unborn and the horrors of abortion.”
FRC President Tony Perkins praised the book, calling it an essential resource for those committed to pro-life advocacy:
“David’s book provides a succinct yet engaging history of abortion in America, helpfully recounts how states responded to the overturning of Roe, and astutely examines the pressing issues still facing those of us engaged in the fight for life.”
Dr. Albert Mohler, President of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, also commended the book, highlighting Closson’s insightful and biblically grounded approach.
