Senior Pastor Bubba Lambert of Christian Life Ministries in Montgomery, Alabama, recently shared on Facebook the remarkable story of his spiritual journey—and how it’s coming full circle now that his daughter, Heather Lambert, prepares to follow in his footsteps at Rhema Bible Training College this fall.
A Cry for God and Two Life‑Changing Destinations
In 1989, Bubba cried out to God for a deeper relationship and felt led to two pivotal ministries:
- Canaan Land Ministries
- Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma
By 1990, he had moved to Tulsa, immersing himself in Rhema’s foundational teaching. Just two years later, in 1992, Bubba graduated—forever changed by the rich biblical instruction and community.
“Both were vital to the foundation and growth of my new walk with God. Amazing and life‑changing times,” he recalls.
Passing the Mantle: Heather’s New Chapter at Rhema
This fall marks a special milestone for the Lambert family: Heather Lambert will begin her own journey at Rhema. Bubba’s pride is evident as he celebrates his daughter’s decision to train at the same college that shaped his ministry.
“Great to see you, fellow Rhema grad daughter go to your Alma mater!!”
— Michael D. Butler, CEO of Beyond Publishing & Faith & Freedom News
Michael D. Butler’s comment highlights the shared bond between fellow Rhema alumni and underscores the value of generational faith heritage.
A Morning Encounter with an 80‑Year‑Young Soul Winner
Bubba also recounted an uplifting encounter:
“This morning I met this 80‑year‑young soul winner from Thailand—a 2000 Rhema grad shining bright for Jesus. We even sang ‘In the Presence of Jehovah’ together in the lobby. A great way to start my morning before going to church. #LetYourLightShine”
This cross‑cultural connection exemplifies the global reach of Rhema’s training and the lifelong friendships it fosters.
The Power of Letting Your Light Shine
Bubba Lambert’s story—from high school at Robert E. Lee to Rhema Bible Training Center—demonstrates how obedience to God’s call can transform lives. As Heather embarks on her own journey, the Lambert legacy continues to grow.
Pastor Bubba’s morning with the 80‑year‑young soul winner is a powerful reminder that age, nationality, and background are no obstacles to sharing Christ’s light.
