Dallas, Texas – Michael D. Butler, the global founder of Beyond Publishing and 1040 Impact, is issuing an urgent call for supporters to join his mission to end slavery and spread the gospel in the 10/40 window. Butler is seeking individuals to become Power Team Members by committing $200 a month for two years to fund churches, safe houses, and outreach events in Pakistan and Thailand, regions within this critical area of need.
The 10/40 window refers to a region between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude, stretching across North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. It is home to the majority of the world’s unreached people, facing challenges such as poverty, limited access to the gospel, and social issues like slavery and human trafficking. Butler, whose Dallas-based Beyond Publishing has published over 800 titles from authors in 66 countries, is now channeling his global influence into 1040 Impact to address these pressing needs.
In Pakistan, 1040 Impact has already made significant strides, establishing 321 churches and operating safe houses that currently shelter 416 girls across four locations. These safe houses play a vital role in protecting vulnerable individuals from slavery and exploitation. Meanwhile, in Thailand, the organization is hosting large-scale outreach events in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, drawing thousands of attendees, with plans for further expansion across the country.
To sustain and grow these efforts, Butler is appealing for Power Team Members to provide consistent financial support. “Becoming a Power Team Member means being part of something bigger than yourself,” Butler said. “It’s about funding the gospel in the 10/40 window, where the need is greatest.” He draws inspiration from 1st Samuel 30:4, where King David declares that those who guard the supplies share equally in the reward with those who fight, underscoring the value of every contribution to the mission.
Butler encourages potential supporters to prayerfully consider a two-year commitment of $200 a month, urging them to discuss it with their families. “There’s nothing more fulfilling than being part of this mission,” he added. Power Team Members will receive regular updates on the impact of their contributions and will be included in the organization’s prayers for their families. Butler also referenced a quote from Paul, saying, “Forgive me for robbing you of the blessing to be a Power Team Member and to fund the gospel,” highlighting the mutual benefits of participation.
Expressing gratitude to those considering this opportunity, Butler emphasized the collective power of such support. “Together, we can fund the gospel and reach those in the 10/40 window who need it most,” he said. “Let’s take action and make our commitment to change the world!” With the backing of Power Team Members, 1040 Impact aims to expand its reach, bringing hope and transformation to countless lives in this underserved region.
