“Mummy, this is World War Three, right?”
This was my youngest daughter’s question as we crouched shaking in our shelter for countless time with neighbors this morning, surrounded by loud explosions of terrorist missiles raining down on us, innocent civilians – day 620.
As I held her, “Darling, it’s the War of Light over Darkness, and we are the light”
My best friends are Iranians since childhood, I cook Persian food, we grew up celebrating our holidays together and always will.
We pray for the safety and freedom of all the innocent people of Iran who have been plundered for 4 decades by the Regime. Jews and Persians are historic allies and Israel and Iran had excellent relations before the Evil regime and still does with the true people of Iran.
“Mummy? Once this War is over we have our hostages back and the Iranian people are free again, can we go visit Iran please?”; Me “Yes it’s always been my dream; plan forward during Wartime for better days for our region.”
Tonight I will be cooking Persian Cutlets for my children and praying for the safety and freedom of us all.
