Two hostages previously believed to be alive were confirmed dead:
Bipin Joshi (24) โ Student from Nepal
Their families, who had campaigned tirelessly for their release, received the tragic news as part of the exchange process.
Israel had earlier confirmed that at least 25 of the 48 remaining hostages had been killed either on October 7 or while in captivity.
