The U.S. Department of State is celebrating the first 100 days of the Trump Administration by highlighting significant foreign policy achievements and introducing new communication platforms to better engage with the American public.
100 Days of an America First State Department
In just 100 days, the Trump Administration and Secretary Rubio have delivered measurable results through an America First foreign policy approach that prioritizes U.S. interests on the global stage.
Here’s a comprehensive look at what’s been accomplished in this short timeframe:
🌎 Delivering an America First Foreign Policy
The State Department has undergone strategic reorganization to enhance diplomatic effectiveness, championed free speech internationally, and successfully secured the release of dozens of unjustly detained Americans in multiple countries around the world.

🤝 Ensuring Fair Economic and Trade Relationships
The department has actively advocated for over $64.8 billion in new deals for U.S. companies, worked to secure critical minerals supply chains essential for America’s economic future, and established comprehensive trade-linked security pacts with Mexico and Canada.
🌐 Restoring U.S. Leadership
American leadership has been advanced through strategic energy, cyber, and nuclear diplomacy initiatives. The administration has successfully unleashed America’s energy dominance, supported the development of safe and secure nuclear energy throughout the region, and expanded cybersecurity partnerships to stand against the growing threat of Chinese telecommunications influence.
🦺 Curbing Illegal Immigration and Fentanyl, Securing America’s Borders
Immigration enforcement efforts have yielded impressive results, with illegal immigration attempts reduced by 95%. The department has facilitated the transfer of criminal illegal immigrants to El Salvador and taken the significant step of designating violent cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, strengthening America’s ability to combat these threats.
🛡️ Combating our Adversaries
The State Department has implemented effective measures to stop the flow of revenue to the Maduro regime and imposed tariffs on countries importing Venezuelan oil. Additionally, a maximum pressure campaign on Iran has been launched, and the Cuban regime has been held accountable for its forced labor practices.
🕊️ Promoting Lasting Peace
Diplomatic efforts have led to significant peace initiatives, including leading talks between Russia and Ukraine, securing increased NATO defense spending commitments from allies, and establishing a six-week ceasefire in Gaza that resulted in the release of 38 hostages.
